We are part of the Church of Scotland which is a Presbyterian Church. This means it is elders – people specially chosen for their spiritual maturity and leadership gifts – who are responsible, depending on God’s grace and guidance, for the life and work of the Church. Our elders meet once a month as the Kirk Session to discuss all aspects of our Church’s life. Before our communion services on the first Sunday of March, June, September and December, our elders also visit the members of our congregation in their homes to offer encouragement and support.
