Worship

We worship God through Jesus Christ our Lord in the power of the Holy Spirit.

We like all kinds of hymns from traditional to modern. The words of the hymns are on ‘TV’ screens, but you can also use hymn books if you prefer.

Our worship times are quite informal. Every week, people share in the Bible readings and sometimes lead the prayers. Our Sunday School children join us for the first part of the service.
Tea and coffee is served in the Church Hall after the service and people love to stay and blether!
On the last Tuesday of every month, there is a service at 3.30pm in the Afton Court sheltered housing complex.

We celebrate the Lord’s Supper at the Church on the first Sunday in March, June, September and December. This celebration is open to all who love the Lord Jesus and are committed to following him. The minister is also pleased to celebrate home communion with any church member who would like to do so. Requests should be made through the member’s church elder.

There are other special services throughout the year – please go to ‘What’s on’ for up-to-date information.
